PRESENTATION OBJECTIVES:
- Describe events occurring in Canadian Real estate
- Describe the current Real Estate trends
- List different methods of investing in Real-estate (condos, homes, short-term rentals,
apartments, commercial, etc) - Discuss the pros’ and con’s of Active v Passive real estate investing
SYNOPSIS:
Physicians and healthcare professionals enjoy investing in real estate. However, they seem to understand one type of real-estate investment (ie. The primary residence). In this presentation, we will address other types of real-estate investments – home ownership, short-term rentals, apartments, etc. We will discuss the differences between Active versus Passive real estate investment. Finally, we will address how new tax laws and taxes with our investments impact returns.
